Celebrity Gamified Mobile App

DesignX was hired by a Microsoft-funded startup to design an AI-backed Mental Health App... a first of it's kind.
$1B+ B2B Platform Redesign
DesignX led the UXUI (User Experience and User Interface) redesign of a $1B+ B2B Platform. The redesign included 100's of patterns across accounting softwares, inventory, product pipelines and more. As a product that competes with Microsoft Dynamics, there is a vast amount of detail across each screen that needed to be taken into consideration as well as very specific conditional actions on a per case basis. DesignX was up for the challenge and redesigned the product beautifully and functionally, much to the delight of the team.
Credify Fintech App and Ecosystem
The DesignX team was called to help with another large Fintech client (one of their specialties). This project included an entire redesign of the mobile and web applications. It also included branding, deep information architecture redesign, user experience optimization, user research, user testing, global team coordination internal and external to the company.
Enow for Disney Platform
DesignX was hired to redesign the Enow Platform used by Data Analytics teams at Disney to understand critical B2B and B2C tech infrastructure states.
$1B+ Ecommerce Redesign
Led the redesign of one of the world's largest health and fitness Ecommerce and Education platforms BeachBody -> BODi.
DesignX talent was deeply integrated with the team on a daily basis with a focus on increasing overall brand affinity for new and existing users as well as providing Conversion Rate Optimization.
Design, development and marketing strategy were developed to help the internal corporate stakeholders target key new strategies to drive growth.
The project included a new Ecommerce store, landing pages, shopping carts, mobile optimization, SEO optimization, checkout and payments and more.
Stealth DeFi App
DesignXs Innovative Work for a Stealth DeFi Company
Context: The talent at DesignX embarked on a project for a stealth DeFi company, a testament to their belief in the future of blockchain and decentralized networks. Recognizing the potential of Web3, NFTs, and the Metaverse, they tackled a project poised to disrupt trillion-dollar industries.
Problem: In a landscape where crypto is still new to the average consumer, education is key. The challenge was to craft a user experience that's both approachable and sophisticated, blending simplicity with an engaging brand to gain market traction.
Team and Role: Working closely with the founding team, DesignX's Head of Design played a pivotal role over a 6-12 month timeframe.
Vision: The goal was to develop a distinctive brand and a range of web and native prototypes for a burgeoning DeFi app.
Approach: The project started with thorough research, analyzing competitors and market opportunities. Prioritizing speed, the team dove directly into Figma, bypassing hand-drawn sketches to produce multiple prototypes weekly for user testing and refinement.
Prototype Development: Following positive feedback from rapid prototype testing, medium-fidelity designs were brought to life in code for alpha testing, involving a team of skilled developers.
High Fidelity Screens: The project progressed to high-fidelity screen development, with nightly updates to refine the final product, adhering to non-disclosure agreements.
Project Outcome: While still in stealth mode and expected to launch within the next 12 months, DesignX delivered all necessary assets before concluding their contract. The project is anticipated to be a significant success in the DeFi space.
This project exemplified efficiency, driven by the founding teams passion for rapid prototyping and product simplicity. DesignXs involvement in this project highlights their adaptability and expertise in the evolving landscape of decentralized finance.
Design and Dev for a #1 App Store App
DesignX's Transformational Project with The Krazy Coupon Lady
Context: DesignX was approached by two influential founders of The Krazy Coupon Lady to overhaul their brand, marketing, and product design across all digital touchpoints due to a lack of in-house design resources.
Problem: The challenge was to create user-friendly software that empowers millions with couponing while rejuvenating a leading brand in the couponing sector.
Outcome: The talent at DesignX delivered, resulting in over a 50% increase in new user acquisition and achieving the #1 rank in the Apple App Store's Shopping category. The app maintains a 4.9-star rating with 84.2K reviews.
Vision: The vision was to redesign all digital touchpoints for The Krazy Coupon Lady, making tools and content more accessible across devices and driving user acquisition and retention through efficient, free SaaS tools.
Strategy and Research: DesignX's strategy encompassed an extensive research phase, looking at internal and external insights, competitive styles, and methods. The founders of The Krazy Coupon Lady played a key role in educating the team about couponing nuances.
Design Process: The project included mind mapping the information architecture, understanding user personas, whiteboarding for rapid collaboration, and creating low-fidelity designs. Following user testing and a brand refresh exercise, high-fidelity designs were developed.
Project Impact: The project encompassed various states, a full Design System, and responsive designs for iOS, Android, and web. This complete redesign of a multi-million dollar site significantly increased its usability and appeal.
User Impact and Learnings: Beyond the app's success, the most impactful outcome was the positive user feedback, especially from those facing financial or personal challenges. The project underscored the importance of team attitude and empathy in product development, proving that impactful products can be created with a collaborative and skilled team.
