It represents the easiest way to be informed about the program during the festival, not to miss any important performers, receive all relevant notifications and even have an overview of the good places to eat.
Ann app you could use after having a glass of wine
Each year, thousands of wine lovers visit Velké Bílovice. Although it is quite a small town, one can easily lose his way there. Walking from door to door and trying whether it is open could ruin the impression of the local warm hospitality. Since modern wine producers from the Velkobílovi?tí vina?i association wanted to avoid this, they came up with an idea to create a mobile application which shows you all open cellars including the way to get there. The task was simple - create a mobile tool that shows the visitor information and navigation to all the cellars, where he or she can go at that moment to do some tasting and enjoy oneself. The app needed to work well in the field and an offline mode while at the same time enabling all winegrowers a clear administration and editing of the data about their places. The app is now actively used by more than half of the local winemakers, which is above our initial expectations, since most of them are farmers and from older generations. Winegrowers especially appreciate the navigation function and experience themselves that when they label their cellar as “open”, they receive significantly more visitors. The usage data proves the same as well.
Mobile app for ZFP Academy sales representatives
The application is secured against unauthorized logins using the SSO login, which sales representatives use across all company applications and systems. Content is therefore inaccessible to the general public. The purpose of the app is to give sales reps easy access to important information whether they are in the field with clients, in the office, on the road or from their home. By linking to individual offices and headquarters, we are now able to relay important information from institutions, management and our own offices in a flash. We will be able to significantly reduce the number of email messages sent out, which often get lost in filters and junk mail. This will help us organize the large amount of information, contests, incentives and other communications. Each news item will appear on the smart device display in the form of a notification.
Assistant for property managers
We were tasked with creating an Android application through which authorized administrators would report damages and defects in properties owned by the company. The assignment itself was not complicated for us. Design a prototype of a new application? We are experts at that.
E-shop Aranys
There are plenty of e-shops, however, customer comfort is not a priority everywhere. The first Czech jewelry e-shop Aranys is now a place where you want to do your shopping - you can quickly get oriented in the user's interface, and the products are easy to find. Even the backend for managing the orders was a success. Among the main requirements for the new e-shop was the removal of multiple flaws, speeding up the loading of pages, and creating a new user interface for easier and more comfortable jewelry shopping. The result is a modern digital store. We have designed it to suit the target group, and we have managed to fasten the response rate several times. The shopping environment gives a very reliable impression and matches the quality of the products and services.
Multifunctional assistant for logistics
We were tasked with creating a web system for the Austrian company Innofreight. The company takes care of the development, mediation and operation of optimized solutions for freight logistics on the tracks. But it is not limited to Austria. Exactly opposite. It has clients and branches throughout Europe. It was necessary to come up with a sophisticated web-based system that would help to improve reporting and troubleshooting of supplied machines. First, we created basic product parameters with the client during the workshop, from which we were able to bounce. Then we honed them to perfection in wireframe design, functional specifications and prototype. Prototype design was especially important. The planned product was a complete novelty for the client. We made sure that everything not only worked perfectly, but that it was also perfectly understandable. We proceeded step by step and resolved any ambiguities during the process.
Official mobile application for the BVV Trade Fair
The exhibition center used to make individual apps for all events and fairs. It was an expensive and hardly sustainable concept. Therefore, in 2017 they addressed us with an assignment for a mobile application that would unify all events. And so we have designed and implemented an information integrating application which quickly gained popularity.
Before starting with the development itself, we had designed an administrative environment, which was preceded by an analysis of the state and structure of the previous systems. Thanks to our DactylCMS, we could interconnect all BVV systems in the way that the mobile application was able to obtain data from them, thus we ensured ourselves that it worked offline too.
It was relatively technically demanding to combine the requirements for using the application under the exhibitor's profile. A user with this profile had to be able to invite his colleagues to become exhibitors as well. At the same time, we have made sure that one exhibitor can have this role at several trade fairs and different exhibiting companies.
iBVV.cz - a complex system with one administration
Satisfaction with the mobile application led our client to address us with another task. It was much more complex and demanding - it consisted in modernizing the information system of the trade fairs, exhibitors, etc. - ikatalog.bvv.cz. The intention was to create a comprehensive system consisting of various applications (both mobile and web) which would be connected to the client's information systems.
We built the system on the DactylCMS, which serves as a backend environment for content management of a mobile application. We have gradually implemented into it the whole functionality of the content management of the new iCatalogue, which withdraws data information (about trade fairs) from the BVV internal system.
Eurobit app: The hammer on the time-wasters
We need to have an overview of which truck came to the station and when. That's why the drivers have sent unstructured texts to the managing director. He had to manually rewrite the texts into the shared document and into the worksheet.
This system worked when the company had only a few drivers. But as a fleet grew up the rewriting process took more and more time.
The company needed a smart solution. And we figured it out.
RLAN portal for Czech Telecommunication Office
Some projects are a challenge from the beginning. We are all the happier when the final work works. And this one in particular - it crosses the Czech border!
Do you use frequency bands? You must register.
If you're an ISP, you probably know what we're writing about. If not, we'll be happy to introduce you simply - 60, 5.8 and 5.2 GHz are unlicensed radio bands for high-speed wireless internet transmission.
They are regulated by the Czech Telecommunication Office. There are reasons for this.
The stations cancel each other out. In order not to harm each other, it is necessary to check various parameters for their smooth operation. The newly created system calculates itself and verifies that they are not in conflict. However, it is not possible without records (i.e. mandatory registrations).
We already cooperated with the CTU and knew how to work. But we went against the result. It can never be trampled without a good understanding of the topic, so we really immersed ourselves in the issue and continuously proposed the ideal solution. The web-based system for registering frequency bands must, uh, simply be quite unusual - specific in terms of technical content and functions. We therefore looked at it through the eyes of its users and consulted the content with them. We knew they were technically proficient and had clear needs. It was challenging, but it worked.
The portal now allows:
- register stations,
- detect conflicts with a coordination calculator,
- communicate with other operators (anonymised because of GDPR).
In 24 hours after launch, 8,000 stations were registered. At the time of writing, there are more than 60,000. The website is therefore interesting not only for a coordination calculator calculating the mutual interference of stations and visualization on a map with additional information, but also for its performance, which we have sufficiently prepared for the initial attack.
E-commerce system for Philips
Everyone knows Philips brand and there is no need to introduce it widely. The Czech branch of this company came up with a request for the development of a special B2B e-shop. It should be an internal system capable of acquiring other business logic in addition to classic order processing. This can be imagined as another ordering process that is completely separate from the former. The requirements were specified and it clearly excluded the standard e-shop solutions. That meant tailor-made system will be needed. Philips has been looking for a reliable supplier who has sufficient experience and a stable team to deliver the project in the short term. In addition, there was a requirement to create a tailor-made complex system that made us an ideal candidate for contract execution.
The project was based on our Dactyl CMS, which contained all the e-shop features and met other requirements as an extended user management with permission managing. The whole e-shop was solved as internal, therefore the front-end part had to be hidden behind a login screen. However, this modification has not been difficult in proprietary software that we have been developing for over 5 years. It was necessary to adjust layouts and UX according to the client's requirements and to implement extended business logic. The entire e-shop development did not take us more than one month including testing and the client has already successfully used it for the purpose for which it was created. In addition to running an e-shop on our servers, we are ready to provide support and, as a matter of priority, to deal with any other requirements with which the client will come.
Quority: internal account management
Quority is a sophisticated web application we developed for the international marketing agency Business Factory. The result is a comprehensive, centralized platform for managing accounts and advertising expenses.

Website for CPZP: Secured better than MI6
Ten of Dactyl mates have worked on the CPZP website at one moment. We had a relentless deadline and yet zero opportunity to use simple solutions. When it comes to the third-largest insurance company in the Czech Republic, the website must be top in all respects. We have used our own DactylCMS system for content management, which allows a wide range of adjustments, convenient, complete, and especially fast content administration.
Website RE / MAX Delux real estate agency
We built the solution on our DactylCMS, which allows flexible adjustment and customization. The DactylCMS was connected to the central XML feed RE/MAX to be able to draw all data related to real estate. The updates are performed automatically without the administrator's intervention and also it's possible to completely manage the real estate portfolio in the web administration. There was implemented an accurate map view and contact form for each property on the site. Requests from the form receive a broker who ensures the realization of real estate.
