We have developed this bot for SMS. The main purpose of the bot is to achieve maximum utilization rate by increasing the scheduling percentage. The main feature that allows to increase it - is the ability to manage a waiting list. It means, if the client is interested only in one appointment time, for example, to have a haircut only on Friday evening, bot stores this information and sends a notification in case someone has canceled the requested appointment. If the customer doesn’t confirm it, chatbot sends the same notification to another customer from the waiting list that was interested in the same appointment time.The second feature that allows to achieve maximum utilization rate and to avoid no show - is sending a notification to each customer 24 hours before the scheduled beauty procedure. We have developed this chatbot with the help of following services: Dialogflow, Twilio API, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, MySQL, Amazon IAM. Dialogflow natural language processing technologies create strong intuitive and well-built conversational interfaces.The chosen platform also allows to have a lot of AI functionality and enables to understand difficult user’s intents. The admin part is written in Angular, backend API in PHP and the bot language is Node.JS. The main features are:Scheduling one of the services. Bot connects to the admin part and automatically defines how many time is needed to do each of beauty services; Editing of the scheduled appointments. Bot understands following commands: edit, change or reschedule;Cancellation of the scheduled appointments; Sending appointment reminders before 24 hours; Managing the waiting list.
