Give us a quick overview of Wings Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

We started back in 2009, where one of my co-founders came up with an idea to start our own venture into web and mobile development solutions and today we’re nicely progressing towards our goal of being one of the companies that provide quality services at every stage of any customer project.


What is your role in the management and development of Wings Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd?

My role is Head – Delivery and Project Management

I handle deliveries across the board and manage all the project managers in the organization. I also help the sales/business team convert their prospects into projects.


Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

Being able to drive some large scale projects which have multiple million $ operations being done and also launching our very own products in the year 2018/2019.


How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

Project Execution Methodology / How we work

Scope definition (skype chat / meetings / specs etc.)
Requirement Analysis -- Identify entities and critical workflows
High-level design / Mockups -- Logo, Website Theme, etc.
Feature Development / Coding
Testing / periodic reviews / bug resolutions
UAT (Customer end testing)
Deployment / Implementation
Maintenance - enhancements / support -- optional based on contracts


How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

We understand the business needs and scalability of the app first. And based on it we suggest going native / hybrid. Sometimes it all depends on the client’s budget as well.


Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

Native

Hybrid has got some limitations, so it’s a good idea to go for a hybrid for small apps.


How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

Fixed cost – When all the requirements are clear and the scope of work is well defined.

Time and Material – When the scope is partially defined and there are still chances of having midway changes or pause of work in the project. Mostly this approach is applied when the client wants to keep assigning different tasks based on their requirements and time.

Dedicated – When there is a multi-months project and we can just assign a developer dedicatedly to the project.
We do functional point estimation to arrive at a budget.


How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

Travel app – Being used by thousands of customers to help in their travel plans

Micro job app – Helping thousands of households to get jobs to hire people around to get the jobs done in a fraction of cost

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

Stay simple and transparent to clients. Do project detailing very well.


How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

Our business team triggers such changes and helps us to stay aligned with the market.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR, and Internet of Things (IoT)?

They’re booming like anything now. Everyone is talking about these technologies and they are definitely something that can bring revolution to the coming generations.

We started doing a bit in IoT already and will surely be jumping into AR/VR stuffs in the future.


What do you think will be the future of mobile technology?

More and more web apps are going to be replaced by mobile apps
