Interview with Dharmesh Mendapara, CEO - White Orange Software

Give us a quick overview on White Orange Software. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

We are an international service provider of custom and tailored tech services for the app platforms Android & iPhone, Web Development, and UI Design. As a leading IT company, we constantly meet and ensure the standards of all our clients’ requirements and continually strive to transform all ideas into reality.
I’ve always believed that curiosity opens doors to innovation, and the digital transformation was one for me. The boundless scope in the digital world has changed our lives in the way we live and work and that has ignited my mind to develop a strong relationship with technology. After learning and exploring the IT sector, I dabbled with new projects each day that eventually led me to convert more ideas & imagination into the digital platform, this gave rise to White Orange software in 2014.


What is your role in the management and development of White Orange Software?

As the CEO of the company, I act as a catalyst for employees and clientele to bring out innovation and growth in both. I meticulously leverage my skills and experience to drive the robust solutions that best suits the client’s requirement and add value to their brand. While wide-spreading my tech skills, I connect the dots from a simple idea to a profitable business. I personally deal with every tiny milestone of a client’s project from scratch to an established product following a unique approach in the effort of delivering a great software product in the market.


Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

I started White Orange Software in 2014 and the company has grown exponentially ever since. We’re proud to grow into new markets across North America, Europe, Asia, and Middle East for many industries and now have grown into a team of more than 20 developers. White Orange Software has provided IT solutions to numerous industries including Business, eCommerce, Telecommunication, Manufacturing, Entertainment & Media, Healthcare & Fitness, Sports, Real Estate, Lifestyle & Fashion, Food, NGO, Retail, Learning & Education, Tour & Travel, and Transportation & Logistics. How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

We often provide a custom plan for the development phases for each client based on his or her customized needs. Before planning, we first try to understand the client’s requirements. Our team will then research, design, develop, and execute planned goals based on the client’s ideas and research.


How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

We would first consult with our clients to first understand their future goals and current obstacles before deciding on which platform and whether to choose native or cross-platform app development. Our team would also provide information based on our knowledge and expertise that would help our clients understand more about the technology needed for their project. Based on their feedback and responses, we try our best to make recommendations that are simple yet effective.


Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

When it comes to deciding between Native or Hybrid apps, we would first understand more about the client’s industry and requirements. We would often inform our clients with information on both Native and Hybrid to help them understand more and make better decisions.


How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

We also understand that most projects might require additional features and functionality requirements while the project is still a work in progress. There are requirements that often change during the execution, which is why we try to be very flexible to make it easier for our clients to manage the execution.


How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

The virtue of expertise and experience of our team of 50+ developers has helped us to develop numerous successful mobile apps for different industries on different platforms. We appreciate their efforts and appreciate their hard work for every development phase on each client’s project. Our team was able to exceed client expectations and establish a tremendous reputation for developing innovative mobile applications that go beyond on all factors from quality to design.

How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

We always believe in keeping up to pace with many technological advancements and staying in tune with the latest technology trends. We follow the idea of easy updating and upgrading and maintenance of business systems to provide the most value to our clients while ensuring the best performance for each project. Our team is on a constant lookout for the latest trends, software, & hardware and we do our best to implement them into our work.


What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

We are very optimistic about the latest trends with AR, VR, and IoT and often try to implement them to many of our projects to improve performances and businesses. I personally believe that many businesses would apply them into their current operations.


The future of mobile technology is still going to grow with innovative applications. There will be all-new applications coming out with the new phones. The country itself is growing with more smart-phone users every day as people become more connected with each other and are exposed to the latest technology. Additionally, new disruptive and innovative businesses will be created by leveraging mobile technology thanks to growing network of users utilizing smart-phones.
