Give us a quick overview on UNL Solutions. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

UNL Solutions is an Outsourcing Software Development House with UK-based management.Company was founded in 2011. We offer dedicated teams for software development to serve different organizations all over the world, mostly Scandinavia, Europe and the USA.We create software and mobile solutions tailored to your business needs.

What is your role in the management and development of UNL Solutions? 

As a CEO I determine the overall strategy of the company, make decisions at the highest level and perform representative duties.

Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry 

One of our clients from USA got into INC5000 list of fastest growing corporations of USA. With our help they are saving over $700K a year using our developers compare to the same level expertise hired locally. 

How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients? 

To promise the timeline to our clients apart from client’s own PM tools we use internal time-tracking systems and use our internal CRM. It helps us monitor agenda, development stages and check the quality of services we deliver to a customer.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development? 

There’s a CTO in our company that collect all details before starting the project. Also, we analyze customer’s expectations, forecasts prospects, estimate the rationality of using different platforms and propose the most effective strategy for our partners.

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice? 

To decrease development efforts and budget I’d recommend to use cross-platform solutions.

If speaking about startups, the hybrid solution gives an ability to create a blueprint/prototype, shift the development paradigm, analyze business processes and change the conceptual ideas if needed. 

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget? 

Working with lots of clients, we’ve got wide experience in the project cost estimation. We make accurate budget calculation for different project stages: analysis, development, testing, and project launch. 

How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business? 

Our main goal is to make our partner business grow. All our software development processes are dedicated to business development of our clients. 

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction? 

We highly value our relationships with clients. We do our best to solve our clients’ issues and always feel the responsibility for partners’ business as for our own one.

How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

We usually make competitive and market research, our development pool takes part in different learning courses to get new knowledge and also experience of other prospective colleagues.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?  

IoT, AR and VR play very big role especially now during COVID-19.

To begin with, IoT is a network of connected devices that can communicate with each other, exchange data and provide automation of tasks. We can use IoT to sense (collect data through sensors) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make sense out of this data. The new name of this convergence is the AI of Things (AIOT). Needless to say, to achieve the full potential of IoT and AI a combination with other emerging technologies may be required in certain cases, like edge computing, digital twin, augmented/virtual reality (AR, VR), and drones.

We can all agree that there are three main themes (needs) until we find the new vaccine for covid-19. These themes are:

Work from home (or do everything from a safe place)
Physical distance
Contactless transactions

IoT and AI can serve all these three needs very well.

What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

The $188 billion mobile app industry is constantly changing. Now, people want more than standalone apps with singular experiences. The overall trend that’s most important to note here is that apps are clearly becoming more integrated with our daily lives than ever before. So, whenever you get hung up in the development details, there is one thing to keep in mind as your “big picture” guiding force.
