Largest European marketplace for medication
THE CLIENT
The client is a leading European pharmaceutical marketplace that provides over-the-counter drugs, beauty, and personal care products online to more than 6.3 million active customers.
THE CHALLENGE
The client approached us to turn their online shop into a new marketplace that integrated with the existing SaaS product management, and payment systems to help the client break into new markets.
THE SOLUTION
We put together 6 development teams who developed the entire marketplace within just 7 months. The marketplace was launched in October 2021 with 20,000 additional products from over 30 3rd party providers. This enabled sustainable growth, increased the margin and time to market of new assortment, and helped protect the client’s market.

A headless commerce system for a mobile app
THE CLIENT
Kurando is an health care online shop that enables users to purchase (OTC) medication online and have it delivered within 30 minutes to their doorstep..
THE CHALLENGE
Acting in a highly competitive market, Kurando intended to set up the mobile app for their OTC online shop as fast as possible. Besides the time pressure, finding a suitable solution for their long-term operational processes was a complex challenge.
THE SOLUTION
To address both of the challenges, we implemented a headless commerce system and a modern front-end mobile application within less than three months.

Freelancing platform for the Latin American market
THE CLIENT
HDI has been one of the biggest European insurance groups for decades with a wide and needs-based range of insurance solutions and accompanying services.
THE CHALLENGE
In order to keep their competitive edge, HDI approached us to validate a novel product idea, develop the product and introduce it to the market. The original idea, a freelancing platform tailored to the Latin American market, had the goal of connecting innovative SMEs with top freelancers. When embarking on such a cutting edge approach for the continent, focusing on creating as much value for users in a short amount of time becomes a daunting task.
THE SOLUTION
Leveraging our entrepreneurial and product development experience, we worked alongside the HDI innovation team to create an initial plan. After many interviews with our target segment, as well as targeted surveys and market analysis, we were able to mitigate several of the main risks.
We then moved on to defining the product strategy and its implementation. Within two months, we launched the beta version, another two months after, we launched an updated version. Our team of engineers managed the development of the platform and the technical infrastructure with the backend in React & Java. Today the venture is still up and running, and has grown from 0 to over 5.000 active users.

ML-powered product for better shopping experience
THE CLIENT
Woow club is revolutionizing personalized color palettes according to users’ natural colors, through scientific data of color theory and aesthetics.
THE CHALLENGE
Woow Club approached us to design an end-to-end product that guides users towards a better shopping experience by analyzing the interplay of one’s natural hair color, eye color and skin tone. We were responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the product and delivered a validated user experience for web and mobile.
THE SOLUTION
We started by testing the raw product idea of Woow club. After identifying several users for interviews and product testing we started a phase of research and data collection. This helped us to identify the core features of the product and to attract the first community of the MVP.
The overall goal of the product is to create a more sustainable shopping experience for the user. Therefore, it was particularly important for us to suggest products that actually fit the preferences of the user to minimize returns. We integrated style recommendations and ML color analysis to support the user to find the right products. Woow Club launched within 3 months and was able to generate a high 5 digit user base within only 6 months.

Nation-wide medical cannabis treatment platform
THE CLIENT
SWOPA/Swiss Alpinopharma belongs to the pharmaceutical industry and produces medical cannabis compliant with high quality standards. In addition, they conduct clinical trials so that they can provide evidence-based treatments to improve patients' quality of life.
THE CHALLENGE
We were approached to discover digital solutions for the client to potentially venture out.
The overall goal of the project was to leverage the digital trend of online patient care and to find product market fit for this new venture.
THE SOLUTION
Essentially, we designed and tested multiple solutions and ventured out the most promising one as a low-tech MVP. We developed a concept of operations and tested the product with customers in multiple cities in Germany. After receiving positive feedback from the market we designed the architecture and roadmap for a scalable solution.

THE CLIENT
TUI is the world’s largest leisure, travel and tourism company. It owns travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise ships and retail stores.
THE CHALLENGE
We partnered with TUI to help small & medium hotels increase their revenue through a new pricing & distribution intelligence system.
THE SOLUTION
We jointly built a webapp - The Lodging Place - where hoteliers receive real time recommendations on pricing and channel distribution modifications.
