Minerva Elite Performance
Upon being approached by Rachel from Minerva Elite Performance, we began an exciting journey to create a professional and sleek website, beautifully reflecting their new branding.
The primary focus of the website was to showcase their extensive range of courses, spanning security, management, first aid, community learning, and more. Our goal was to ensure visitors could easily access vital information while enjoying a seamless and visually captivating experience. With SEO at the forefront of our minds, we will strive to increase search rankings through best practices.
Chris took initial contact and briefed the team. From here, Joe created all pages with passion and care, implementing industry best practices for SEO along the way. Throughout the entire process, communication was paramount. We engaged in face-to-face meetings to ensure we were all aligned on the project's direction, resulting in a beautiful website we’re all very proud of!

Mountain Perspective
Mountain Perspective came to us looking for a new website. The main objective of the site was to simplify their services and messaging to ensure people fully understand what MP offer. Therefore, the design needed to be modern, minimal and friendly to reflect this.
Mountain Perspective offer business consultancy, coaching, mentoring as well as their unique service in Mountain Experiences, which involves a guided mountain walk with an expert mountain leader and consultant.
We’re delighted with the website and can’t wait to see where it goes from here, with bigger plans going forward.
BOSS
Border Office Supplies & Systems (BOSS) came to us looking for a new website with their main requirements being a modern looking website in terms of both features and design whilst also having fast load times and simple navigation. Often, websites can look great in terms of design, but not perform to high standards in terms of speed and general performance. BOSS were after both and came to us for help.
BOSS provide services and products for all offices and cater towards their client’s needs. BOSS offer four main services: Managed IT Services, Office Supplies, Managed Print Services (MPS) and Interiors. Their branding reflects these services by giving each services their own individual colour. It was important to BOSS that we incorporated this, so we did so in a subtle, yet noticeable way.
We’re very pleased with the final look and feel of the website!
South Wye Police Boxing Academy
The site includes some neat features like their annual boxing show, information on their coaches, a fantastic gallery full of photos taken by Gerry their club photographer. This will help paint a picture of the club and their initiatives to those who may be new to us. Gerry’s imagery appears all over the site so you’ll see some familiar faces throughout the site!
You can also access the Coacha sign up form easily from the site. We also have some frequently asked questions and a page dedicated to their Queens Award For Voluntary Service back in 2010.
We’re extremely pleased with the site and we are incredibly grateful for all the support the club receives from Hereford City Council, West Mercia Police and The DM Lab. It will have far reaching benefits for the local community.

Hereford RFC
After the devastating floods and costly pandemic the Hereford Rugby Football Club has come back fighting. The clubhouse has been completely revamped. However, if you haven’t paid them a visit yet, you have to see it. It looks awesome. Light. Spacious… And views to die for. Furthermore, it’s riverside location with plenty of on-site parking makes it well worth considering for your next function or even works event.
To help the club showcase what they have to offer, we put together these glossy brochures. Next time you’re down the club for instance, grab one to show those who haven’t been able to get over in person yet. Definitely worth considering some matchday hospitality too!
On the pitch, we have been given an awesome opportunity by Spencer and the club to be 1st XV shirt sleeve sponsors!
Matchday Programme Design
We’ve been able to use our expertise in adding more the matchday experience by working on a new look programme. We love it and hopefully there will be a few shifted at tomorrow’s match. Loads of advertising space in a really engaging, well put together programme if any businesses would like to stick an advert in. Contact Jo ([email protected]) for more info and we’ll get it in the next one. Currently 36 pages of wholesome club content that we’ll look to build on throughout the season. In other words, the design and content will continue to evolve throughout the season. Well worth the £1.50 we reckon!
Last but not least, something else we’re incredibly excited about are the club’s membership cards. A glossy, cool looking credit card sized card which you can get hold of if you’re a player, sponsor or any club member in any capacity. In addition to them looking cool, they do serve a purpose too. Hereford Rugby Football Club’s Digital Partner
We developed the club’s website a few years ago and we’re continuing to help develop the club’s digital presence. Ourselves and the club have aspirations to take everything to the next level. However, we can’t contribute anything on the pitch, we’ll let the boys take care of that. However, we have so much to offer off it. Therefore we’ll stick to what we’re good at!
The club is working really hard on and off the field and we’re really excited about our role in helping Hereford Rugby Football Club thrive.

Hereford City Council
There were several key aspects involved in the redevelopment:
Make it visually engaging.
The current site suffered from a very generic page layout of content on the left, sidebar on the right. A lot of text – sometimes too much, and very few accompanying visuals. The pages, although informative – just weren’t engaging. Masses of text that scroll what seems like forever!
Make it accessible.
Something the old site lacked. Small fonts and masses of text meant some would have difficulty in reading and / or following. We chose a font that was easy on the eye, clear and concise. We chose Poppins as it covers all bases. Instead of lazily just replicating pages with a sidebar, we did away with this dated layout. Instead, the pages and content were deconstructed then rebuilt in a far more visually-pleasing, engaging manner.
We chose the ‘Poppins’ font as it is both easy on the eye and easy to read too. The text is clear and concise. We ensured it was easy to read and chose larger than usual font sizes so that nobody would struggle to read the text either on desktop or mobile device.
Make it Informative.
The new website will act as both a historical cataloging and archiving of council meetings and as a tourist information hub. Above all, if visitors wanted to find out more about the county before visiting, this is the site they would use to plan their visit.
Make it Colourful.
The Hereford City Council branding incorporates a lovely shade of green. We used this colour throughout the site as an accent colour and for easily identifiable call to action buttons. The key was to make the site visually appealing – which would further encourage engagement.
We made each page as interesting and as unique as we could. Something the old site suffered badly from was repetitiveness. Pages of scrolling text, a sidebar and the same header image that was used throughout the whole website. Not something we wanted to create with the new site. Visually appealing therefore engaging.
The Result.
With a comprehensive content management system, we will be showing HCC how to update and manage the site. It will continue to evolve. Furthermore, we’ve added online forms, an option to be able to donate directly to the Mayor’s charities. Overall, the site is worlds apart from the original. The HCC will be using the website as a valuable tool to promote their work and boost the appeal of Herefordshire as a whole with the addition of a comprehensive Tourist Information section.
The Lucullan Collection
A project we launched recently - The Lucullan Collection
We have been instrumental in the logo and brand design from the start which we could then apply to the website with a clear direction of how to best present it to consumers. Joe brilliantly took the lead on this project and has delivered a quality ecommerce site which is only at the beginning of its journey. The site will continue to evolve after an excellent launch. Joe encapsulated the brand and messaging to a tee as he always does and Chris presented the team at The Lucullan Collection with the perfect platform to launch the brand and the website by sponsoring the recent visit of Sir Ranulph Fiennes at The Courtyard Hereford.
We have gone above and beyond to support this fantastic local venture – doing what we can, where we can, wherever we can. If you know us, you’ll already know it doesn’t finish once the website is complete – that’s just the beginning!
As we always do, we try to collaborate with others to deliver he highest-quality end product. We worked with Paul Carter, a local Herefordshire photographer, who captured some excellent images for The Lucullan Collection, both product images and lifestyle images which again perfectly encapsulate the brand.

The Great Collaboration
We were tasked with creating a friendly and welcoming website with bespoke functionality for a local company promoting green actions that anyone can undertake. The site allows users to manage their own 'toolkit' by adding, committing to and removing their own 'actions' to play their part in helping the environment.
Parish councils can sign up to the site and view graphs and statistics of commitments in their county by users. Users can also see their own statistics and achievements too. Collectively, local councils can encourage village or town populations to work together and the results can be analysed and improved where applicable. Users range from individuals to big local businesses.
The key to this website was the engagement of the users and then the technical reporting required for the Parishes. The website used some very bespoke coding to develop both a good back and front-experience.
Herefordshire Mind
We were tasked with redesigning the website in accordance with Mind's new branding guidelines, meaning we had to adhere to the principles set including fonts, colours, branding assets and imagery.
The website needed to be soft, friendly and welcoming but also encourage action in certain areas. It was important to make sure that each user had a good experience but more crucially was able to find any information easily and create or do some actions.
Due to the nature of potential website visitors either being in a difficult place mentally (the website is the Herefordshire branch of national mental health charity ‘Mind’) or carers looking for answers or help – we had to consider both aspects when redesigning the site.
Two Farmers
We have been working with Two Farmers for a few years now. We were originally working on their website which was developed by a third party but in order to achieve the level of functionality Two Farmers required, meant plugin after plugin had to be added. Unfortunately, these bloated the site and site speed was affecting the customer journey.
With years of data, we were able to confidently address the UX and functionality of the site and we were tasked with redeveloping the website as the company had visibly outgrown their original solution.
With now regular TV appearances, we had to ensure the website and the server could handle the volume of traffic associated with a television feature. To capitalise on these appearances, we had to ensure the site would not crash, potentially costing them in both potential purchases and potential custom.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our business to both work with a local company but also work with a local company who have established themselves as a national brand now because of their 100% compostable crisp packets and the fact that almost all the ingredients of the crisps are grown by the two farmers, Mark and Sean.
Two farmers was designed to basically improve conversion rate and repeat buying rates, the old design told a great story but didn’t take into consideration the overall customer journey. Since the launch of the website we have seen:
· a 25% increase in traffic,
· 30% increase in page views,
· 3% increase in conversion rate.
· 9% increase in revenue
The design had improved UX and helping achieve business objectives!
Get A Drip
Get a Drip are a leading provider of vitamin booster and IV drip therapy. They engaged the services of The DM Lab when they were a startup, looking to hit the market in the right way, heavily focusing on the brand and digital marketing.
The DM Lab not only helped them in becoming a market leader, they also now have one of the largest market shares in search, a very robust advertising campaign and strong brand.

Local e Sourced
Local e Sourced is a start up in Herefordshire. An online marketplace that is bringing multiple suppliers into one online shopping experience. The focus for Local e Sourced was to develop a friendly welcoming brand, that both suppliers and customers can relate to, being an online business it was key to make sure their digital presence was on point.
Since launching the brand has exceeded all expectations, with 100s of customers ordering in the first month and their supplier list growing rapidly.
