Give us a quick overview on Sarvika Technologies. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in web design and development?
Sarvika Technologies is an IT software outsourcing company, which I started in 2013 as I felt that there was a huge market gap between clients, quality of software and knowledge of eCommerce developers. When I founded the company, my only aim was to provide premier software solutions without compromising the quality of delivery or technical languages. Today we are a team of 50+ industry experts who carry multiple years of experience in their respective fields while we started 6 years ago with three in my house’s basement.
What is your role in the management and development of Sarvika Technologies?
When I came back to India after working in the US, I realized that there was an untouched pool of talent in our country that could easily cater to the needs of global clients if nurtured in client servicing aptitude. I started building a team, handpicked the best of the best, and got clients from the US and Europe; since then there has been no looking back. At present, my role at Sarvika Tech is to promote the idea of making the company a pioneer in IT consultancy, especially within the eCommerce domain. Another idea is to bring down the barrier of technical limitations that most consultants present. If you know software development, agile methodology, project management (technical and people), you can do it all.
Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry.
I think that’ll be overhauling the eCommerce outsourcing domain through Sarvika Technologies, which is now the game-changer in this field. No one knows the inside-out of the B2B eCommerce platform development industry as we do. That’s our core competency.
How do you schedule the development phases of the web design and development projects to promise the timeline to your clients?
We rely on agile software development practices to ensure that our clients receive valuable deliveries with every release. Not that we have not worked in the classic models of software delivery. But, these modern-day practices and techniques help us deliver requirements to the clients within the promised timeline with the best quality of code.
Which framework, programming or scripting languages do you prefer for web development? How do you convince your clients for the same?
We offer full-stack development to our clients; Java is a classic backbone of the software development industry and offers a high degree of scalability, enhanced security, these are some features that clients with a long term business vision seek. But yes, we slowly added more to our development stack and started bringing out the best by mixing frameworks of different languages. Convincing a client had not been difficult for us as we know the business requirements after initial discussions. Scalability, reliability, security, functional flexibility or any other preferences help us decide with the client what to use.
What would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, when it comes to web design and development? How do you define the factors that influenced you make this choice?
Always deliver more than expected: the principle that defines the work ethic of every member of team Sarvika Technologies. For us, there is never a complete handover of the project because we take care of what we’ve designed by providing post-delivery maintenance services like launch support, introducing new updates, something that our clients appreciate. We also specialize in surprising our clients by delivering faster than we committed.
How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?
Our pricing and engagement models are designed in a way to be industry standards in western countries. We offer the best rates in the industry for quality applications but group allocation and longer timeline commitments are sure discounted even more. Aim is to be a reliable tech partner to any new client.
How helpful are the web design and development made by Sarvika Technologies for your clients in enhancing their business?
We mold our services as per our client’s business needs and support them throughout their technology and IT processes. Through our intelligent web design and development solutions, we’ve helped clients achieve their RFPs or their winning projects of commerce. By introducing new features in their existing application(s) or smoothly migrate to better technology in a narrow timeline of a newly acquired business by our client, we bagged our success.
What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction for web development?
As I said, instead of cutting ties with the project after its delivery, we offer post-maintenance and support services. In fact, our preference is long term relationships rather than hopping to new projects. This practice has created a lasting bond with our clients because it assures them that their website/app will not succumb to the constant technological changes. Our team is supporting revamps of websites with the latest features, updates, and whatever that’s creating waves in the industry.
How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?
Through constant learning and innovation, we believe in change, in being agile because the IT and software development industry is extremely dynamic. Say a feature released today is expected to become outdated within a year. To stay at the top of the game, we explore uncharted waters with an open mind and learn from mistakes committed in the process.
What are your thoughts about material design, progressive web app and Internet of Things (IoT)?
PWA - Mobile commerce is rapidly taking over the market, and now customers want to purchase products and/or services online without any hassles. PWA simplifies the entire process by eliminating the need for downloading an application from the app store, thus making it the future of mobile eCommerce. IoT - As of now, we are working on our next phase projects that aim to leverage IoT. It will help to enhance the eCommerce platforms and will put our clients the way ahead in technology as compared to other competitors in the market.
What do you think will be the future of web design and development technology?
Without a doubt, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) is the next gen. Micro-service on no server architecture is my personal favorite for 2020.
