Give us a quick overview on Rocketech. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

I always looked towards the IT industry and studied in this direction, and was like a regular employee in several startups and companies. After a while I met my future business partner and together we have developed a few apps and websites. We came up with an idea to build up our own company that could be a professional lab for different startups across the globe. We named it ROCKETECH because the idea was to create something solid & unique and launch it into the sky. This is what we ground on so far by making custom software for different founders worldwide partnering with them and scaling up together. Main motivation is making the world better with IT engineering and improvements in any industry.


What is your role in the management and development of Rocketech?

We have a specific and unique process of work that we continuously improve. My role now is more about being a CEO. I’m involved in all our processes, projects, sales and marketing on a daily basis. My partner is more involved in Business Development and he is responsible about the services that we provide to our customers.

We don’t have a CEO in the company, we agreed between us about what we do and how we grow our company together by understanding strength and weakness of both of us.

Scrum frame is our core and it is the reason why we have much bigger responsibility between all our partners across the globe. This philosophy we cultivate inside for our whole team and that is why our customers love and trust us.


Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

‘Large company growth’ - which we stabilize and plan to achieve the next multiple growth this year.


How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

We use many tools inside the company. Thus, we follow best practices of SCRUM framework and we always take a look in order to let the team follow this on a daily basis. We have our own dashboards which are connected to the Jira, money that we get and timelines - we call this data driven development. We apply different standards for the technology we use. Also we give free access to dashboards and standards.

Main thought that we follow is fulfilling the promises that we give to our clients. We build partner relationships together with founders so it means that we are responsible about the project and we deliver every sprint and every day.


How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

We follow business needs & ROI and suggest it according to the resources that customers have. At this edge of money, time, quality and risks that can happen we are moving on.


Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

There are many particular moments, can be because of design we will need to use native development, can be because of the needs in offline mode app development, can be because of the complexity of the project. We start with the end user by asking Product owners which are the needs that their users will have or are having right now.


How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

Usually, we don’t use a fixed price model of work. Because, in a custom-made software development there is no way to implement all needs of the customer and end user using fixed model otherwise the price becomes very high. We prefer to follow the trust model of work and don’t take more than what was needed to implement the project. We follow T&M model of work and dedicated team model of work which is our knowhow upgraded T&M model.


How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

Some Product owners are leaving their jobs because the app that we built is giving them enough money and freedom. We help people educate their babies, educate themselves in order to make more conscious leaving, providing different productivity and utility tools for difficulties that people have, some systems that we develop change entire business process of companies.


What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

Don’t make over promises, take responsibility, and deliver the project successfully, don’t lie or resell one developer to several projects. Make transparent way of development in order to let customers see everything.


How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

We hire best people and keep making customer development with PO, making stronger those processes that work and let go those processes that are useless.


What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

These are good technologies and soon we will see many more cases and projects using these technologies. Because of a current lockdown people will now go on with self-entertainment and their home improvement. Thus, in my opinion now we will see a new product market fit for this technology that will last for a long time.


What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

In the nearest future a deeper involvement in our daily lives is expected for mobile technology. In a long-term future the changes of the interfaces in something more intuitive and smaller are expected to happen. I see that Apple is making revolution with their own Apple M1 chip in Desktops and this is just a beginning.
