Give us a quick overview on Raindrops Infotech. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

What is your role in the management and development of Raindrops Infotech?

I’m a founder of the company, my main role is to oversee the whole process of the business and see to it that the firm grows continually while at the same time offers the best-finished products for all clients. My skills include effective strategic planning, analyzing, forecasting, and budgeting for various projects, team building, in-depth development and implementation of different types of IT procedures and policies. I also excel in all aspects of IT project management.

I also have great skills when it comes to communicating with others, and my adapting personality has enabled me to adjust to the changing trends with the industry in a better way. With my flexible style of work, I regularly collaborate with support teams and SMEs and project teams to provide them with the best solutions.

Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

My biggest achievement is my team & my partners who is working with me and delivering the projects within the time frame and quality. My team is always there to support me. My knowledge and my client experience always inspire me. Raindrops InfoTech has successfully manage and hold their client. So less absenteeism ratio in terms of client holding.

How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

Generally, it always depends on the project and its constraints. Mostly in projects we are working under the model of “time, money & scope” triangle. Constraints in such a project depend on the priorities for a client.

We initially understand the requirements and based on that ideas and research we work on the design, develop and launch goals.

When the highest priority is time - it means that the customer is focused on the value maximizations. Scrum and other agile methodologies fit better in such cases, because we are closely working with customers, demoing every new feature and receive feedback. That allows to quickly adjust the scope to customer’s needs.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

Communication and proper understanding is the key here. I consider even the minutest details like, who are the target audience? What are the key features and functionalities to be embedded? Should the client go for cross-platform or Native app development etc, our team understands the exact requirement from client, then based on our knowledge and previous experience we suggest best platform with different time frames. We also listen to client if they have some good suggestion regarding the platform. Already built in code repository is our plus point here.

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

This completely depends on the project requirements.  

If requirements can be satisfied by using HTML5/CSS/JS and standard components, we will recommend Hybrid stack. If requirements imply significant level of customization, we will suggest Native stacks for the required platforms.

In general, native technologies are preferable for complex business solutions. They allow avoid risks of integration with third-party systems. Hybrid technologies fit better for simple solutions including MVP.

Thus, it depends much on the requirements of the project and external factors like project features, cost, duration, tools and other technologies being used.

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

We use the model that best fit with the requirements and client preferences. Even if I see any chance of learning new technologies, I never see my profit there. For fixed cost I will confirm the requirement and then we will prepare the quotation. Time and material is preferable when client comes to us with dynamic project requirements and chooses to go flexible by taking the opportunity to replace features, adjust functionalities and modify the project at any stage of development.

 If client is technical and looking for multi talented and skillful technical resource or a team, we have solution for that as well and we outsource resource or team and the client can hire them for their purpose.

Fixing a budget for a project has a simple methodology that is based on various factors like no. of resource involved in project based on experience, no. of other resources, infrastructure, and miscellaneous.

How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

Over the past 8 years, we have delivered 180+ mobile apps to our clients from varied industries ranging from healthcare, sports, media, logistics, to education. And our app development has indeed helped our clients to achieve their business goals.

The virtue of expertise and experience of 8 years has helped us to develop ample of successful mobile apps or websites for different industries on different platforms.

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

According to my opinion the best practices are making a product of a good quality according to budget, meeting deadlines and customer's budget, dedication and commitment, transparency and service delivery, I mean listening to the client and addressing his concerns, that is on high priority for us.

How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

I firmly believe to have an exponential learning curve and have a keen interest in the latest trends in the field of information technology. I attend seminars, write blogs, read good articles, and keep ourselves. We organize technical debates at our promises as well. We have a dedicated technical research and marketing team who stay abreast with the latest technical updates and changes to provide our developers the brief about the changes and about new techniques.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

AR, VR and IoT are very trendy right now and, in my opinion, this is the future. But honestly am not working with AR and VR technologies.

What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

The Future has already come to Mobile technology. Based on the current trends, the future will be a combination of intuitive voice technology with IoT. Today’s era believes in accessing information at finger tips. Mobile technology is providing the means for knowledge, entertainment, business, and communication. In the coming years, we might end up coming in terms to more vibrant and advanced features under the domain of augmented and virtual reality.
