How did you begin your journey with IT Idol Technologies?
To be honest, IT Idol began when we noticed a gap. Many businesses tended to apply generic software to their processes; however, custom software solutions, particularly around new technologies like AI, remained under-utilized. We could build a company to be a true tech partner, with a more purposeful lens around what exactly their need was. We started small, focused all of our efforts on achieving great outcomes for our first clients, and that 'partner-first' approach has shaped how our business has grown.
In short, how would you describe your responsibilities at IT Idol Technologies?
Being a Tech enthusiast myself, I consider myself a navigator and create a strategic course. We must be equipped with an amazing, empowered team of experts and a culture where real value for our clients is created. Ultimately, I am accountable for delivering results and creating a strong and innovative company.
What do you think is the key role that you have to play as a CEO?
For me, it is important to have a clear vision - the “Why” behind what we do- and communicating relentlessly. However, having a clear vision is not enough; but to create the right environment and building a culture where team can innovate and collaborate effectively. It is about empowering team and provide the space to evolve. While ensuring we are moving forward on the same path towards client success.
Tell us about your most valuable achievement in the industry.
It is tough to pin-point on a single win, it's a difficult choice to make, but every successful client launch feels like a major win for us. But let’s zoom out for a second. I think the most valuable achievement is both technical excellence and being a client-focused partner. Seeing business succeeds through technology we built and knowing that we have a team of experts who genuinely care for the outcome. That feels more important than pointing out a single project. It's about the trust we've earned.
As an app development company, where do you think IT Idol Technologies needs close attention during app development phases?
Usability is the most important consideration when it comes to apps. If it doesn't have a good layout that makes sense, they won't use it. Security and reliability are other important aspects of performance. We always find that open and consistent communication with our clients is most important to make sure that the end product works for their users.
Which project development methodology do you think is effective?
Flexibility is the key, we trust agile as one of the best methodologies for custom development. It helps us with the iteration based on the client feedback and adapt to the changes. This helps us to build the correct solution collaboratively without facing any hurdles.
What advice would you advice for your peers for effective management?
My advice would be, communicate a lot - clarity is critical. Second, trust your team. If you've hired smart people, give them the tools and authority to be successful; don't weigh them down with micromanagement. Third, effectively build a positive culture. As Satya Nadella likes to say, empathy is paramount for innovation - if you understand your team's perspective and your clients' perspectives, you can achieve greater results. Finally, stay intensely curious. In our evolving field, you have to keep learning.
How do you balance your relationship with the technical and non-technical teams while leading them?
It's about building mutual respect and helping everyone to be on the same page with the top-level goals. We work hard to translate business objectives into technical requirements and help our non-technical folks get a feel for tech capabilities and challenges. Having common goals and clear ways of communicating, also help in making sure everyone understands how their piece fits into the success of the client.
Which do you think is the futuristic technology and why?
That's always the multi-million dollar question, isn't it? Currently, it's difficult to look beyond AI and Machine Learning. The potential is amazing- helping businesses make smarter decisions, automating complicated tasks, and creating personalized experiences. Sundar Pichai compared AI's potential impact to electricity or fire; while that sounds dramatic, it captures the fundamental shift it represents. We’re also keeping a close eye on how IoT continues to evolve and connect everything.
What are your plans for IT Idol Technologies in the year that has set in?
This year (thinking of 2025 now) is about focused growth and deepening our expertise. We're doubling down on areas like AI/ML, where we see huge client potential. This next year we’re making sure that our client partnerships are continuing to strengthen too. Internally, our focus is just making sure our team has the latest skills and that our processes are in sync so we can continue to the most cutting-edge, high-value solutions in as efficient a manner as possible.
Which apps do you admire the most regarding technology, innovation, and user experience — and why?
Great question! Thinking about apps that blend tech, innovation, and great UX...
● Slack: They mastered communications between teams in a simple platform with just the right features.
● Notion: I enjoy their ability to be flexible – it feels like digital Lego designed for productivity. Very fresh.
● Spotify: The personalization from ML is impressive, delivering relevant content every time with a seamless experience.
● Google Maps: I still can't believe how well they turned complex data (traffic, transit, and reviews) into something incredibly useful and intuitive.
● Duolingo: They figured out how to get people invested in learning naturally by gamifying the experience with thoughtful UX.
