Wijs & Van Oostveen Client portals and advanced forms tool
In collaboration with Wijs & Van Oostveen, we have developed several online client portals that play a crucial role in the digital transformation of their services. These portals not only offer investors comprehensive insights into their financial products, but also provide improved structure and increased security. Clients can use the portals to communicate securely with their clients via a secure messaging box. Clients can then log in securely to view account information and their portfolio statement (position information). They can also access the statement of changes and consult various statements. The portals offer client access to a wide range of financial services, including pension management, fund investments, and innovative investment opportunities. Through these platforms, users can easily manage their financial status, make important decisions, and benefit from up-to-date insights and analysis, all within a secure and integrated digital environment.
In addition to the client portals, we developed an advanced forms tool for Wijs & Van Oostveen that significantly optimises the way client data is collected and processed. This tool enables Wijs & Van Oostveen to collect, check and process information from their clients in a structured and efficient way, taking into account complex dependencies and various controls. The forms tool offers extensive possibilities for customisation, where forms can be self-assembled using different types of blocks and fields. This enables uniform collection of data such as partner and address information or details for opening a new pension account. The flexibility of the tool allows Wijs & Van Oostveen to adapt the forms to specific requirements and ensures that they are portable and reliable, regardless of the application.
Wijs & Van Oostveen is a leading asset manager focused on providing high-quality, personalised investment services to both private and institutional clients.
HVHL multilingual websites
Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences (HVHL) offers practice-oriented courses in sustainability, nature, and the environment. Developed by Four Digits, HVHL's new website supports its international ambitions and is available in Dutch, German, and English. This multilingual approach helps international students and stakeholders access comprehensive information about courses and services.
The website details undergraduate and graduate programs, including admission requirements, curriculum, and career opportunities, aiding users in making informed educational decisions. It integrates with Microsoft Dynamics for automated data transfer and with Surfconext for secure, single-login authentication, enhancing user experience and data security.
Built with Wagtail CMS using Django Framework and Python, the site is modern, responsive, and accessible, meeting the latest web standards. This new website is a key tool in HVHL's efforts to reach a global audience, offering a user-friendly interface and advanced integrations to communicate its message and services effectively.
Atlance Portal
Online digital financial portal in which partners can offer complete leasing solutions for ICT and digital devices. The entire application arranged digitally from front to back.
The complete processing of a financing requests for hardware or software is handled in Atlance's online portal. Partners of Atlance log into this portal to process various lease requests:

AQUON Order Management System
AQUON samples water quality for its clients (water authorities and other clients). Clients request these measurements by placing orders, which contain a lot of information.
Water research, samples, water quality, water bottom surveys, hydrobiology, innovation all come together in the Order Management System we developed for AQUON.
The number of orders for water quality research has steadily increased, to over 100,000 samplings and almost 1,500,000 analysis results in 2021. This has created the need to streamline the data flow between AQUON and its clients.
We optimised the current processes for requesting water measurements. For AQUON we developed the Order Management System. The digital application should allow clients to submit their orders to AQUON easily. Also, the application should signal if samplings and analyses have already been requested. In addition, the new application should make it easier for AQUON to assess and place in to the primary system. In short: today, clients can process all types of applications in a user-friendly manner within a safe and stable environment.
The system has led to more efficiency and transparency for AQUON's clients, and better quality and cost savings for AQUON.

War Child (4 websites)
War Child is an organisation working worldwide for hundreds of thousands of children growing up in war and violence.
The CMS / web application consists of 4 websites, managed from a single admin interface. Each website has its own language and uses its own payment provider.

Zumtobel Group
Zumtobel Group is one of the largest international players in the field of lighting solutions. Together with Zumtobel Group, we have worked on a digital platform in which it’s possible to manage several brand websites.
Together with the Zumtobel Group and design studio Anton & Irene, Four Digits have worked on the digital platform in which the various brand websites can be managed in one complete solution using Wagtail CMS as its main engine.
A large part of the website is for case studies: the largest and most inspiring locations where Zumtobel Group has supplied their products. The Zumtobel Group has placed its lamps in world-famous churches in Italy, various museums and the most famous stadiums of major European football clubs.
Efteling eCommerce
In collaboration with the Efteling, we are working on the Django-Oscar eCommerce environment responsible for handling payments, bookings and orders placed through the online sales channel. In a world where the customer is always central, the environment serves the needs of an order.
Buy tickets online
As a guest of the Efteling, the experience starts when placing the order. All orders placed through the shopping cart of the website are handled by Django-Oscar. With a correct processing of the order and payment, the customer will receive the ultimate experience.
Just putting together your shopping cart with products will result in an endless amount of possibilities. For example, does the guest buy a parking ticket or not? Do you book a cottage with a crib and a cake on arrival? Ordering a crib without a cottage is not possible. We have Django-Oscar configured so that all correct options are possible and the experience is always maintained.
Humanitas: HRS 2.0, applications and API's
About Humanitas
Humanitas is one of the main social services and community building organisations of the Netherlands. Humanitas is a nonprofit association which aims to support people who, for a range of different reasons, temporarily can not manage on their own.
About HRS 2.0
Within Humanitas, we realized the Humanitas Registration System. This enables volunteers and professionals to record all daily activities within the more than 1,500 projects carried out by Humanitas. The +/- 45,000 volunteers must record all activities they carry out with their participants online for reporting purposes. This involves ease of use, security and accuracy of data. This portal is mission critical for the organisation. The application has over 1 million objects of information and accesses them via an API with external applications. Within the assignment, there had to be close collaboration in order to jointly test and accept functionality. The application has more than 1 million objects with information and accesses them via an API with external applications.
Our responsibilities include the following work
Sprint/Agile process tuning with Humanitas including Sprint planning.
Drawing up and working out requirements in cooperation with Humanitas on the basis of specifications.
Designing and developing the Humanitas Registration System Design and front-end according to requirements and specifications.
Design and development of the Humanitas Registration System Backend according to requirements and specifications.
Design and development Single Sign On (SSO) including link with Azure Active Directory.
Design and development of API for controlling and querying various protected business applications.
Design and development of automated tests.
Set up Continuous Integration (Cl) including: running tests, compiling code and deployment on test / acceptance.
Provide security advice / Security Audits.
Visualisation of various data sources such as PowerBI.
Further development / evolution of HRS 2: From PRS, to HRS1 to HRS2).
Setting up and hosting test, sandbox, acceptance and production environments.
HRS contains highly privacy-sensitive data and therefore has strict security requirements. HRS 2.0 was developed on the basis of Django and is a fully customised solution for the entire national organisation.
Mollie: Mollie API client for Python
Implementation partner
Four Digits is a technical partner of Mollie. We are engaged by Mollie to design, develop, implement and maintain the official Mollie Python API Client in accordance with the set specifications. As an implementation partner of Mollie, we work together on the Mollie API client for Python. Available at https://github.com/mollie/mollie-api-python . This allows other Python developers to use the Mollie API. Mollie supports companies by offering a reliable and easy to use payment solution. This payment solution can be addressed via various APIs.
Refactor for version 2.0 and 3.0
Mollie got a new API, which meant that the client API also had to be adapted. Four Digits did this including an update of the documentation.
The API
With the Mollie API it is possible to make payments with iDEAL, Credit Card, or PayPal without monthly fees. Use the Mollie API and receive payments directly in your application with a simple link in Python.
Veiligheidsregio Utrecht: vru.nl website, cms, incident management system
VRU.nl
https://vru.nl/ is the corporate website of Veiligheidsregio Utrecht. The website informs residents, press,
potential employees, other government organisations and network partners about the VRU.
Crisis communication: Incident management system
In addition to the website including the CMS, in this assignment we added integrated risk and crisis communication functionalities. One digital place for citizens, businesses and press in the Utrecht region where they can find unambiguous and up-to-date information about risks, incidents, disasters and crises in their region.
Open Source
The solution is realised based on the open source Wagtail CMS; it was a requirement in the tender that the system be open source. The website has a complex and extensive structure and has different target groups: citizens, corporate, press, employees, government, potential staff and volunteers.
Four Digits designed the website (including wireframes and design) and built the incident management system and website.
Rijkswaterstaat: RWS Verkeersinfo (rwsverkeersinfo.nl)
Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) is the executive agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Netherlands, called Verkeer en Waterstaat until 2010. The organization manages and develops the main roads, main waterways and main water systems on behalf of the ministry.
The assignment was to functionally design and build http://rwsverkeersinfo.nl and develop two front-end widgets.
The website must comply with government web guidelines and all the requirements described in the SSS (Software System Specification) document must be delivered. In addition, two front-end widgets had to be delivered which are located at http://rws.nl and http://vananaarbeter.nl in order to search for a route directly from there.
The website is a high priority website with high peak load during incidents. Four Digits realised the solution based on the leading python open-source CMS: Wagtail CMS. Wagtail CMS is built on top of the web framework Django.
The frontend is developed in React.
