Interview with Vivek Khatri, Founder - Emizen Tech Private Limited

Give us a quick overview on Emizen Tech. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?
In the year 2013, we, three long­time colleagues, started Emizen Tech Private Limited with the principle of giving Innovations to the ideas of Clients. We ensure to our Clients that will help them in enhancing their productivity by making their applications work faster, cheaper and better. And, our ability to conceptualize, architect and implement new and expanded capabilities allows clients to transform legacy models to take their business to the next level. Over the years we have left an indelible impression in the IT solutions domain with an impressive clientele and an extensive global presence. We live in an era of immense possibilities.
Emizen Tech is investing in creating significant business impact in its customer organization. What is your role in the management and development of Emizen Tech?
I am playing an important role as I am managing all the resources of Emizen Tech. Basically, my role is not only to manage the resources and execute plans. My main role is to identify the strengths and expertise of resources. I can identify them, analyze and as per requirement, I can assign the tasks. So, that corresponding Client will get the best solution from us in less time-frame. We always try to polish our developers by assigning new tasks and projects, so that their work experience would not be in a specific domain but, in all the possible domains. All of our resources are shining stars and they would be more excited when we get new projects.

Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry
We are "Magento Solution Partner ", which is one of our biggest achievements and every organization might have dreamt of getting this tag attached to the name. We are having best certified developers in our team and best part is that we work on most of the technologies. So, it’s easier for us to manage all types of Clients in the market as we do provide the solution as per their requirement and needs. We can provide the assistance to Clients and in last few years, we have created a satisfactory Client List which is also, a biggest achievement for us.
Also, it’s a time when we are getting the projects from Client end itself. As Client initiated and approaching us to do their projects. We look forward to provide our best!

How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?
We follow Agile model, in which we can confirm and move. We can start with requirement phase in which we can mutually decide the scope of work and exchange the document for future reference that what we will have to implement. We can share the manual guide for Client as well after the development is over. We can move in a sequential manner from designing mock­up’s/screens to development. So, there will be no error while the development and after the development. Moreover, important thing is to stick to realistic scope of the project and to provide the best realistic suggestions while mutual scope discussion. So, Client will think for all aspects and finalize after that. This is the best way and after scope finalization, we can divide the project into milestone/ Stages. So, project will have more clear vision.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?
Our motto is to get the scope of project and business idea to how the client will get maximum profit from it. After understanding, we can best assist them to use the maximum profitable platform that must be used for development. We can share all positive and negative aspects, if exists with the platform. So, the client will choose and understand the benefits why we have assisted him for that. I think this is the best way through which a client can choose profitable platform for app development.

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?
Basically, a successful and profitable business progression, directly or indirectly is associated with how you are providing your services online. There must be few factors that differentiate one's need. Some of the factors are,
1. What would be the target audience/Users
2. Development time
3. What type of Performance needed by Client
4. Budget
5. Features like direct access to the device features (camera, GPS, address book, calendar, push notifications) via API.
6. Code type Complex or easy

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?
Before executing, any requirement we need to understand the main requirement and scope of the project. Once, the scope will be defined. Then, as per the need we can provide the best estimated time and on that basis, we can provide the cost. Time and cost are directly proportional to each other.

How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?
We have developed many apps and some of the apps have gained more than 10k downloads and Users. So, most of the works done are in right direction and proved fruitful for clients as well. Mobile being a handy device proved itself the best available device which increases the number of app Users and app Usage. So, directly speaking, our mobile app development has enhanced the businesses and their profitability by increasing the number of Users.

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?
To make the clients satisfied, listening to their requirements is important. Follow transparent communication methodology, give quick responses, understand their needs, make customer satisfaction as your priority, turn customer survey data into action, take their feedback after service and correct the flaws.

How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?
By following these steps, I can update my business system using new technologies. Identifying current loop-holes, selecting the right technologies, early acceptance and through focused training.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?
Internet of Things is an incredible technology that connects any device with an on/off option to the Internet. The Internet of things is giving us ways and will continue to grow, give us more ways to respond to learners’ environment and situational needs.


Virtual Reality (VR)
VR is an artificial environment, which is experienced through sensory stimuli (as sights and sounds) provided by a computer and in which one’s actions partially determine what happens in the environment. In terms of the use of VR, it is pretty easy to imagine educational applications for virtual reality we can create environments that mimic the real world and therefore allow for relevant learning and exploration to take place but without the potentially expensive or dire consequence of mistakes in the real world. As the haptic, the sense of touch features get better (Oculus’s Touch hasn’t even been approved by the Federal Communications Commission for release yet), even more real world applications will be available in VR. We can imagine surgeons or nurses getting literally hands on experience on appropriate procedures in VR. VR may be a way to simultaneously achieve the benefits of physical presence and the benefits of digitalization.
I truly believe IoT, AI, and VR will change the way we live, which means they’ll change the way we learn. There are already examples of how each is being used to change or enhance learning.

What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?
Since the first smart phone, the technologies used in the development of the same have advanced tremendously but not as much as in other areas. Probably, we are reaching to the limit of the possibilities that mobile phones have and we are walking towards a new way of communication. It is already known that the mobile phones of the future will be flexible and will have self repairing screens .
Inner characteristics of the mobile of the future interactive applications of siri's style on Apple devices will not require you to touch the screen to fulfill your orders and answers will reach a higher level of accuracy. These technologies will be able to process the human voice in a wide range of tones, acquiring volumes of words with which they will interact and allow them to better receive our orders. Instead of telling to our mobile what to do, it will do it for us by identifying our needs and reacting to them.
The main motive is that you do not have to go to another site to get all the information you require, being even more instinctive than it currently is. The level of response will merge with the augmented reality (AR) generating the illusion of a virtual assistant (VA) who participates in your life on the physical plane. The wireless novelties are already being installed in the market as the Apple Air Pods to listen to music with wireless headphones. Within a short time, the battery will also be charged wireless which is a pending account of mass sold smart phones.
