The mobile apps continue to serve the Hi-line Customers better than any of their previous methods. The mobile apps enabled their customers to find products faster including the ones they didn’t even know that Hi-line carried. Having their materials at the ready has made a tremendous difference in how they operate and the next level of service that their customers deserve. The App has also enabled more visibility to promotional specials, along with making it easier for their customers to get in touch with their local Territory Manager. The app has been faster than searching for something in the paper catalog, and it’s 8-10 times faster than using the interactive PDF or website, as it allows Barcode Scan search alongside Voice and Text search across various parameters of millions of SKUs. Saving the printing and paper-based costs have yielded bottom-line results as well as reducing the carbon footprint to promote environment-friendliness as the icing on the cake. The in-house team forecasted the business inquiries and planned resources based on the recorded unexpandable excel-based data of 12 years.
As the business evolved, the absence of a data repository and the non-inclusion of analytical data from critical sources like ERP and CRM narrowed their scope of analysis and prediction.

REAL-TIME PMP: Perfection required — a mission-critical solution for project management
The Business Problem:
Westinghouse deploys a wide network of field engineers for quality control. These field engineers have to monitor electricity supply and demand, inspect equipment, make repairs, etc. But, there was no way to interface with the engineers while they were actually in the field. Assignments were doled out before they went into the field and priorities could not be changed except by phone. Westinghouse approached Copper Mobile with the idea of building a project management mobile solution to solve these problems.
The Result:
Copper Mobile embedded within Westinghouse in order to learn their core processes and pain points by spending time with their field engineers and operations team, we didn’t build an app — we delivered a custom mobility solution with functionalities solving each partie’s problems.By undergoing a rigorous quality assurance phase directly in conjunction with Westinghouse field engineers, we were able to deliver a solution that was not only imminently useful and effective, but safe and reliable as well.
Reinventing an innovator's core product
The Business Problem:
Datascan enables retailers to physically count their inventories without having to hire expensive third-party providers to conduct those counts for them. Through a suite of on-demand, self-scan solutions, Datascan supports 60,000+ client counts scanning millions of item identifiers annually. The system collates, displays and enables data for many of the largest retailers in North America.
The Result:
Copper Mobile and Datascan completely reinvented Datascan’s core product with the DART Self-Scan Suite. The configuration file solution eliminated much of the previous core product’s deficiencies, nixing the requirement to send the handheld scanners back to Datascan for client-specific customizations — this reduced overhead by almost 65 percent.
Likewise, since DART’s launch, Datascan’s clients have enjoyed significant productivity gains, reporting labor cost savings of up to 25 percent.

DASHBOARD APP : Making complex data actionable for Verizon's C-suite
The Business Problem:
Verizon, as one of the largest corporations on the planet, produces mountains of internal data every day. If leveraged correctly, that data can give Verizon executives actionable intelligence to help them better do their jobs. Unfortunately, the C-Suite didn’t have mobile access to timely and usable data. They struggled to obtain key performance indicators for each business unit, and they could only access these KPIs via desktop or laptop computers. The user interface on this system was neither intuitive nor engaging and Verizon did not have the available internal development resources to tackle specific initiative. So, Verizon partnered with Copper Mobile to solve this problem.

Copper Mobile took the time to perform a deep discovery phase to fully understand the client’s business needs and any potential obstacles to development. This streamlined the process, eliminated inefficiencies, and reduced time to market. Helping a telcom giant unleash a valuable sales channel
The Business Problem:
Value Added Resellers’ (VARs) sales comprise a healthy percentage of Cisco’s revenue portfolio. This group needs to be efficient and successful in order to maximize Cisco’s profits. But, the UC320 product portfolio is complex, both for the VAR sales staff as well as the intended customer, small businesses. Cisco realized they needed a way to promote product fluency within their sales staff while at the same time providing them with a sales aide that could inform small business owners about the advantages of the UC320 product line without alienating those customers with overly technical jargon.
The Result:
Copper Mobile was able to build an end-to-end solution for every relevant party — Cisco, the VARs and their prospective customers. We interfaced extensively with Cisco and their VARs to build the most effective solution possible.
