Interview with Manish Patel, Co-Founder and Director - Concetto Labs

What is your role in the management and development of Concetto Labs?
I am the Director and Co-Founder of the company. My job is to spearhead the company management and process while making decisions related to business development. I also determine the general strategy of the enterprise and represent Concetto Labs at different meetings on behalf of the company.  


Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry.
Over the years, we have achieved great expertise in live streaming apps and constructions app development. Few of our noteworthy projects are AnyFace and Skrachy in the live streaming domain, and PPM in the construction domain.
           
How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?
Our development phases consist of four aspects, namely: Research & Strategy, Designing & Development, Testing & Delivery, as well as Training & Deployment.
We employ Agile methodology to develop our client's software. We also use JIRA for task management and Mantis for bug management to provide a clear timeline regarding delivery time to the customers from the start to the very end.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?   
When it comes to mobile app development, there are two options available for clients to pick; native (Android or iOS ) and hybrid (Flutter) apps. We closely study the demands and requirements of our clients and then suggest which route is the best for them.In most cases, we suggest Flutter (a hybrid app development platform) which takes much less development time and has a single source code to manage both iOS and Android apps.       

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or Hybrid apps?
We suggest Hybrid app development (Flutter) to our customers for several reasons. There are plenty of benefits of the hybrid apps over native, few of them include it being economical, a single-code base, less time to deliver, and so on. We always prefer hybrid apps unless there are some functionalities that are not achievable.

How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?
Well, it's completely subjective and depends upon the client's requirement. We try to educate our customers about the difference between Native & Cross-Platform App Development so that they can arrive at an informed decision.

How do you scheme your pricing model and budget?
Our pricing model is defined based on the length of the project. We have pricing models such as hourly, time and resources used, or a fixed price. The model our customers pick works in their best interest, so these are quite flexible options that cover every preference.

How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?
The apps our team creates fulfills and enhances our client's business journey as well as their customer experience. The best practices to achieve the aforementioned is to have a knowledgeable development team, research the clients well to understand their requirements, and show up with integrity at every step.
