Interview with Prashant Sengar, CEO - AppsChopper

Give us a quick overview on AppsChopper. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

Located in New York, Walpole and Boston, AppsChopper is specialized in app design and development. We have earned vast expertise in creating a variety of mobile apps on different platforms including iOS and Android to cater to multiple industries. Apart from mobile app development, we also render other services including mobile strategy consulting, app marketing, UI/UX design, PWA development, app back-end development, app launch and more.

As a tech enthusiast, I nurtured a passion to cater to customers with technology based solutions. And finally established a company named Webby Central that renders website development, digital marketing, strategy and consulting and more services.

I witnessed the growing demand for mobile apps among smart-phone users and thus among businesses as well. This prompted me to venture into mobile app development services and I was keen to launch the service as soon as possible.

At the same time, I came to know about AppsChopper, already established its foothold in app development. After analyzing the future growth opportunities, I acquired AppsChopper in October 2018 and launched app development services successfully.
      

What is your role in the management and development of AppsChopper?

Working as a CEO with AppsChopper, my role is to interact with the managers, team leaders and other professionals to get details about the work progress, identify their issues and help them in getting quick solutions to ensure the work operation is smooth and highly productive. I also spend time with them to sketch out the right strategy to improve services, client satisfaction, drive revenue, etc.


Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry.

On the course of our app development journey, we have created a variety of apps to cater to clients from multiple industries. Some of these apps are memorable for being unique, robust, feature-rich, and enjoy the vast user engagement.

How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

When we get new projects, we interact with clients to gather their concept, development requirements, business needs, market scenario, audience, etc. This helps us to know the complexity of the project and also the type of app they wish to develop.

Based on this, we schedule the multiple phases of app development, including research, wire-framing, analyzing technical feasibility, prototyping, designing, development, testing and deployment. Once, we schedule these app development phases, it helps us commit the exact time frame for app delivery.     


How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

To help our clients in choosing the right and profitable platform for app development, we get in-depth details about their target audience. We then find out whether the majority of target audience is using iOS or Android.

It helps us suggest them the right platform for app development. For instance, if most of the customers use iOS devices, we advise clients to opt for iOS app development and vice versa.

Besides, we also consider the geographical location of the target audience and help clients choose the right platform accordingly. For instance, if the majority of target audience is from Denmark, we advise them to choose iOS for app development.

If we find the customers using both iOS and Android devices equally, we will suggest the client to choose both the platforms for app development. For budget conscious entrepreneurs, we recommend hybrid app development, which we perform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as React Native, Flutter, etc.   

 
Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

Well, hybrid and native apps have their own set of advantages and disadvantages. Both are equally popular among businesses and frequently opted by them. We interact with clients to know about their requirements and give them suggestions accordingly.

If they wish to have a separate app for iOS and Android platforms and if they have no budget constraint, we will advise them to go with native app development. On the other hand, if clients have  limited budget to be utilized yet seeking to get apps that perform like native apps and also deliver a native like experience, we suggest them to choose hybrid app development. We also recommend PWA for such clients and let them enjoy the benefits of native apps at the cost that they can easily afford.   


How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

We follow only one pricing model e.g. Hybrid Fixed Payment Model. In this, cost and timeline are fixed at very initial for an entire project. Meanwhile, we divide the project parts in milestones. And then, we plan the payment terms either on the basis of percentage of development or milestone completion.


How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

Once we deliver the final products to clients, we constantly get in touch with them to know their feedback, performance of the products, etc. For most of the products, we got a huge appreciation from our clients.


What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

After working on 250+ projects, we got to know what works effectively to drive client satisfaction. At AppsChopper, we consider the following practices to match the satisfaction level of clients.
